Custom BDSM Furniture South Africa Private Dungeon Builds
Everything is quoted, made by hand, and collected discreetly. From a single modified piece to a full private dungeon — your brief, your build.
What We Build Custom
Custom work at Fetish Fabrications covers two things — modifications to our standard range, and fully original builds designed around your brief. Both start with a conversation, not a catalogue.
Dimension Changes
Height, width, pad length, leg spread — any standard piece can be sized to your body or your room. Minor adjustments within standard material incur no extra charge.
Original Pieces
Suspension frames, bondage beds, cage systems, wall rigs — if it can be welded from mild steel, we can design and build it. Send us a sketch, a reference image, or a written brief.
Finish Options
Standard finish is satin black. Colour changes or custom vinyl pad colours are available on request and quoted per job.
Full Room Setups
Planning a private dungeon or studio? We can quote a full package — anchor points, wall rigs, freestanding furniture and layout advice, built and fitted in one job.
Not sure what you need? Tell us your space dimensions, your budget, and what you want to do with it. We’ll suggest a practical layout and quote from there — no commitment required at that stage.
What We Can and Can't Build
We’re upfront about this: we don’t commit to every custom job on the first enquiry. Fetish Fabrications builds to a standard we stand behind — if we’re not confident a design will work structurally or practically, we say so before we take your money.
Proof of Build — How We Handle Uncertain Designs
If your brief involves a design we haven’t built before and we’re not certain it will perform as intended, we’ll build a working prototype first — at our cost and risk — before we quote and commit to your job.
We will not take a deposit on a build we aren’t confident we can deliver. If a proof build shows the design works, we proceed with a full quote and confirmed timeline. If it doesn’t, we come back to you with an honest assessment and alternatives.
This protects you from paying for something that can’t be built properly — and it protects our reputation for building things that hold up.
Some requests we’ll decline. If a design is beyond our current capability or a danger to others, we’ll tell you clearly rather than attempt it and deliver something substandard. Where possible we’ll suggest a practical alternative that achieves the same result.
How the Process Works
Custom builds follow a straightforward process. Nothing moves to fabrication without a confirmed quote and deposit — so there are no surprises on either side.
-
1Send Your Enquiry
Use the form below or message us directly. Include as much detail as you have — dimensions, what the piece is for, any reference images. A rough idea is enough to start.
-
2We Discuss and Refine
Nicholas will respond personally — usually within 24 hours. If your brief needs clarification we'll ask. If it's straightforward we move straight to quoting. No jargon, no sales process.
-
3You Receive a Written Quote
Every custom job is quoted in writing before any work begins. The quote covers materials, build time, finish, and collection. No hidden costs added after the fact.
-
4Deposit Confirms Your Build Slot
A 50% deposit secures your place in the build schedule. No deposit, no slot — we cannot hold material or time speculatively. Balance is due before collection.
-
5Collection
We contact you when your piece is ready. Collection from our Krugersdorp workshop, or from Play With Me in Johannesburg by prior arrangement. Packaging is plain — no branding visible on the outside.
What to Include in Your Brief
The more detail you give us upfront, the faster and more accurately we can quote. You don't need to know the exact specs — but the points below help us avoid going back and forth.
- The Piece What are you trying to build — bench, cross, frame, full room setup, or something else? A name or description is enough.
- Space Dimensions Room size in metres, ceiling height if relevant, and any doorway restrictions for collection. Furniture that won't fit through the door is a problem we need to know about upfront.
- User Size Height and approximate weight of the person using the piece. This affects frame sizing and load design — especially important for suspension or overhead work.
- Finish Preference Satin black is standard. Let us know if you want a different colour or finish and we'll confirm what's available and quote accordingly.
- Budget Range Approximate budget helps us design to what's realistic. No judgment — it just prevents us quoting something out of reach.
- Timeline Do you have a date you need it by? Build times vary — a simple dimension change on a standard piece is faster than a fully original build. Tell us if timing matters.
Deposits & Lead Times
Deposit required
50%
Of the quoted total. Balance due before collection.
Standard modifications
1 – 2 weeks
Dimension changes to existing designs. Subject to current build queue.
Original builds
2 – 4 weeks
Fully custom or first-time designs. Longer for large multi-piece jobs.
Deposits are non-refundable once material has been purchased for your build. The deposit also covers the intake and administrative work carried out before fabrication begins — this time is spent regardless of whether the build proceeds.
If you need to cancel before material is ordered, your deposit will be refunded in full. We’ll always tell you clearly where your job is in the process so you know exactly what applies.
