The Workshop
What "Handmade" Actually Means Here
Fetish Fabrications isn't a warehouse dropshipping imported furniture. It's a steel workshop in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, where every piece gets built the same way — cut, welded, grind and finished by hand, one order at a time.
Every build gets checked for weld quality and load before it leaves the workshop. There's no production line and no outsourcing overseas — just steel, a welder, and years of knowing exactly where furniture like this tends to fail.
The process starts with raw mild steel — cut to size, mitred, and tacked into shape before every joint gets fully welded and grind smooth. Edges get deburred and rounded so there's nothing sharp against skin. Once the frame is solid, it's finished in either a powder coat or a hand-applied paint finish depending on the piece, then checked once more before it's packed for delivery.
